MARO Strategies was founded by Magda Rodríguez, a strategic advisor and nonprofit leader with more than two decades of experience strengthening organizations, developing leadership, and advancing family engagement initiatives.
Magda grew up in Colombia in a community with limited resources. These early experiences shaped her deep commitment to equity, opportunity, and the importance of systems that create meaningful opportunities for families and communities. After graduating as a lawyer, she dedicated her career to working with nonprofit organizations focused on strengthening programs, leadership, and community engagement.
Magda is widely recognized for her integrity, collaborative leadership, and thoughtful strategic approach. She is currently pursuing a Strategic Management Certificate at Harvard University to deepen her work in organizational leadership and systems strategy.
